Welcome to the 2024 Menlo Charity Horse Show! We are absolutely thrilled to have you back after taking a year’s hiatus. The year 2022 was truly remarkable for us as we commemorated our 50th Anniversary alongside all of you, and we were overjoyed to be recognized as the National Hunter Hall of Fame Horse Show of the Year. It was a “pinch me” moment and served as the perfect icing on the celebratory cake for our hardworking committee who tirelessly brings the Menlo Charity Horse Show to life.

Heritage has often been described as “our legacy from the past, what we live with today, and what we pass on to future generations.” Tradition, on the other hand, refers to the transmission of customs and beliefs from one generation to another. Menlo takes great pride in curating a boutique charity horse show that is deeply rooted in tradition and heritage.

Menlo recognizes that it is not immune to the ever-changing fabric of our sport. Therefore, after 50 incredible years, we are making certain changes and introducing new twists that we hope will continue to uphold excellence in equestrian competition, while also enabling us to stay committed to philanthropy, preserving our heritage and tradition.

Once again, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the exhibitors, sponsors, and friends whose generosity continues to support our legacy charity, Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Vista Center plays a vital role in providing essential services to our community, particularly as we witness a rise in eye ailments causing vision loss, especially among our aging population. In the spirit of progress, Menlo is pleased to introduce some new community partners for 2024: Children’s Health Council (CHC), American Wild Horse Conservation (AWHC), and Equestrians for Mental Health Awareness (EMHA). We are inspired by the contributions and positive impact they bring to our equestrian community and beyond.

It is the exhibitors, trainers, horses, and grooms who make Menlo truly special. We honor each and every one of you and express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support in preserving the traditions of Menlo while embracing the vision of our future.
